Campsite rules are an official document that sets out the terms for coexistence of guest in the campsite. Please respect it.

useful information

ACTIVITIES & EXPERIENCES

Activities and entertainment are available during the summer season. The schedule is available on INFO panels at the reception desk and around the camp. Mini club is intended for children from 5 to 12 years. Activities for adults include sports activities. Entertainment program includes live music several times a week. A rich offer of activities and entertainment for children and adults is available at the nearby Stella Maris Resort.

AIRPORT

The nearest airports are Pula (cca 80 km) and Trieste (cca 100 km). If you need flight information, our reception desk office will be happy to provide the necessary information.

ATM

ATMs are located at the campsite reception desk.

BARBECUE

You can have a barbecue in the designated Grill zones marked on the campsite map.

BANK

Banks and postal offices are located in Umag, in the city centre.

BEACH

Sun loungers and umbrellas on the nearby Stella Maris Resort beaches can be rented. Payment is only possible in cash in EUR.

BED LINEN AND TOWELS

Upon arrival, guests have at their disposal an initial set of linens and towels included in the reservation price. Linen and towels are changed once a week. If you want us to change your linen more than once a week, additional charges apply according to the valid price list. Please request this service at reception.

BICYCLES

If you wish so, you can rent a bike near the camp in the Stella Maris Resort. There are some marked cycling trails in the area.

BOATS

Please register your boats as well as boat racks upon arrival. The reception desk staff will refer you to authorised offices where you can register your vessel and receive information about vessel anchoring and berthing.

CARS

Car repair workshops are located in Umag. Contact reception desk staff, our employees shall be happy to assist you. The nearest gas station is in Umag (9km). The nearest electric vehicle charging station is located in Stella Maris Resort.

CHECK-OUT TIME

Please leave the pitch on the day of departure until 12:00 a.m.

CURRENCY EXCHANGE

We recommend that you only exchange money in authorized exchange offices such as exchange offices at the bank or post office. The money can only be exchanged by people over the age of 18.

DENTIST

If you need a dentist, please contact the reception desk staff.

EVACUATION PLAN

Emergency exits are marked on the campsite map. In the event of a fire alarm, please leave the campsite as soon as possible and follow the signs and instructions by our staff.

EXCURSIONS

If you would like to explore the wider surroundings and visit natural and historical landmarks or if you would like to book a special excursion, please contact our information officer at the Istria Experience Point, located in the campsite on the main road, below the central swimming pool, or contact our authorised partners in the campsite. Please ask for a vendor’s licence before purchase, otherwise the campsite shall not be responsible for fraud.

FAULTS AND REPAIRS

If, despite our regular check-ups, something remains overlooked, please report faults via the mguest app or to the reception desk, and we will try to repair the fault in the shortest possible time.

FIRST AID

First aids are in the first aid kit at the reception desk.

HOSPITAL

The hospital is located in Pula. Contact the reception desk staff in case you need to call an ambulance or if you need help with arranging transport to the hospital.

INTERNET

The campsite is mostly covered by free wireless internet connection. How to connect to the internet:

  • activate Wi-Fi on your device
  • connect to the Plavalaguna network
  • if you need help, contact the reception desk staff

LOST AND FOUND

Take care of your belongings, you can never be too cautious! Be especially careful when swimming on the beach. Store your valuables in the safe vaults at the reception desk, at additional charge. Please inform the reception desk about all lost and found items around the campsite as they record all lost and found items and will be happy to help you out.

MEDICAL CLINIC

The private medical practice is located in the neighbouring Stella Maris Resort.

NEWSPAPERS AND MAGAZINES

Domestic and foreign newspapers and magazines are sold on the news-stand in the neighbouring Stella Maris Resort.

NOISE

Please do not disturb the peace and silence in the campsite. Night rest lasts from 12.00 a.m. to 7.00 a.m. and loud communication, singing, listening to music, watching TV, and driving are prohibited. Please be mindful of the day rest from 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. Please refrain from using motor vehicles during that time.

PARKING

Park your vehicle in the campsite, exclusively within the borders of your pitch. Please park your vehicles so that they do not interfere with the traffic in the campsite. An additional vehicle is charged according to the valid price list.

PHARMACY

The pharmacy is located in Umag.

PAYMENT

The bill for staying on the pitch should be settled 24 hours before departure. When paying the guest must show their registration form and return the identification key. Payments can be made in cash (in EUR) or AMERICAN EXPRESS, VISA, MASTER CARD, DINERS and MAESTRO credit cards.

PETS

Pets are required to be registered at check-in. Pets are allowed on all pitches and are charged according to the valid price list. Dog owners are obliged to keep their dogs on leash and tied. Owners are obliged to clean up after their pets. Pets are allowed to swim only on a designated pet-friendly beach. Showers for pets are located near toilette facility number 1. If you need a veterinarian, please contact the reception staff who will refer you to the veterinarian. The examination of the pet is paid directly to the veterinarian.

PHOTOCOPYING

Photocopying service is provided at the reception desk with an extra charge.

POSTAL SERVICES

The nearest post offices are located in Umag. Mail for guests arrives on working days around 1.00 p.m. The mailbox is located near the reception and the shipments are shipped daily. Stamps can be purchased in the nearest post offices only.

RESPONSIBILITY

Take care of your belongings. Store your valuables and money in the safe vaults at the reception desk, at additional charge. The management of the campsite shall not responsible in case of stealing, theft, or disappearance of things or devices left in the camp. In case of theft, please immediately report it to the reception desk staff who will take further measures.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS

The restaurant - bistro in the swimming pool zone is open daily. A vast offer of restaurants and bars is available in the nearby Stella Maris Resort: à la carte restaurants, pizzeria, fast food/snack bar, cafes/beach bars.

SAFE VAULT

There is a safe vault at the reception (extra charge). We recommend that you put all your valuables and your money in the safe vault. The campsite management shall not be responsible for money and valuable that have not been stored in safe vaults.

SWIMMING POOL

Sun loungers and umbrellas by the pool are included in the price. Outside working hours, it is strictly forbidden to enter the swimming pool area and leave towels or other items on sun loungers in order to reserve them. All left items will be removed and stored by the pool staff.

TAXI / RENT-A-CAR

Please contact the reception staff to order a taxi or to rent-a-car.

TOURIST TRAIN

A tourist train rides around the campsite every day. Train stops are marked with panels showing the train schedule. Rides are charged according to the valid price list by the tourist train staff.

TRANSFER

In the event of a transfer request please provide us with the correct time and destination on time. Please contact the reception desk to arrange the transfer and ask about the rates.

USE OF VEHICLES

Please adjust the driving speed in the campsite to as low as possible and do not exceed 20 km/h. The pedestrians and bicycles have the advantage in the campsite traffic. Minor children are not allowed to drive various motorized devices without accompanying parents or persons responsible for them. Driving around the campsite is not allowed from 12.00 a.m. to 7.00 a.m.

VISITS

Visits are allowed, provided that the guest are registered at the campsite reception desk. Daily visits longer than 2 hour shall be charged according to the current price list of the camp. Visits to campsite guests are allowed from 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m.

WASHING AND DRYING OF LAUNDRY

Please use token activated washing machines and dryers (with additional charge). Washing machines and driers are located in toilette facilities 3 and 4. You can purchase tokens at the camp reception. Purchased tokens cannot be redeemed for cash. Please read carefully the instructions before using driers and washing machines as subsequent complaints will not be considered.

Plava Laguna is committed to sustainability and to preserving environment, hence we adopted a sustainable business policy. Our goal is to reduce the impact our business has on the environment by applying the best practices and by careful use of natural resources. We know that you are concerned about the environment, so we kindly ask you to help us achieve these goals by following the measures described below:

save water

We all know that water is a scarce resource that directly affects our environment, so we try to reduce water consumption wherever possible. You can help us by closing the tap while shampooing or brushing your teeth and by using a short wash cycle when using the toilette.

save energy

We save energy in our own household, so please behave in the same way in the campsite. Turn off all the lights you do not need.

reduce the amount of waste

Please dispose all waste and cigarette stubs in appropriate garbage bins.

recycling

Please dispose paper, plastic bottles, and cans into their respective bins.

prevention of water and soil pollution

To reduce the risk of contamination, please carefully dispose of grease and fuel. In the event of an accident, please contact our staff to assist you and supply you with grease liquid absorbing agent.

animal protection

We kindly ask you not to feed birds, cats and other animals in the camp because it can seriously affect natural balance.

The Blue Flag is an international environmental program for the protection of the sea and coastal areas, whose primary objective is sustainable management of the sea and the coastal belt. The flag is introduced as one of the excellent measures for ensuring high standards of quality, safety and environmental protection to provide you a pleasant stay without negative effects on the environment.
